The Than and Sam Show was a show that aired as part of the Saturday Night Virus, and was possibly the only SNV show that had gained a specific fan base.
The show stared Nathaniel "Than" Bryant, and "Primetime" Sam Roberts, who both worked on the more popular Opie and Anthony radio show. The show was critiqued by Opie, Anthony, or Jimmy many times, though they didn't listen all the time. It was classified by them as "college radio"; but Than and Sam usually don't disagree.
The show was sometimes referred to as The "Sam" and Sam Show.
The show came to a disastrous end on January 17, 2009. Sam had plugged his other show Special Delivery. Than didn't like this. Than said he found out about Sam's new radio partner the night before his wedding, on Facebook. Than proceeded to 'fire' Sam from the show. Sam responded by plugging Special Delivery over and over again. Sam's mic was then shut off by Than. Sam then appeared on Danny's mic, before leaving the show. Travis joined Than to host the rest of the show and both agreed that it was unbelievable how Sam acted. Danny also joined them and never mentioned Sam again. The show never came back. Sam's then-girlfriend, Jess, even said she was very upset by the argument.
